Former Red Bull forward Chris Megaloudis and Keith Detelj scored late goals to boost N.Y. Greek-American Atlas to a 2-0 victory over Battery Park Gunners in the first round of the U.S. Amateur Soccer Association's bracket of the U.S. Open Cup on Sunday.

Megaloudis, a graduate of Stony Brook University and a member of the Puerto Rico National Team, struck in the 84th minute and Detelj tallied two minutes later.

Battery Park is from the Boston area.

G-A Atlas, which has won four Open Cup titles (1967-69 and 1974) will host New Jersey champion Jersey Shore Boca for a spot in the opening round of the Open Cup.
