AS Roma will make CitiField the last stop of its three-city United States tour this summer. The Italian club will play at the Mets home field on July 28 against a yet to be named opponent.
Roma had already announced a July 25 game at Fenway Park in boston against Liverpool They will also play at Wrigley Field on July 22,
AS Roma, which was recently purchased by U.S. based ownership, has won three Serie A titles, nine Italian Cups and two Italian Super Cups.
This will be the third soccer game played at CitiField. Juventus played Club America last season as part of the World Football Challenge, and the National Teams of Greece and Ecuador played there last June.
