If his work visa is approved by the U.S. government in time, Colombian international striker Juan Pablo Angel could play with the Red Bulls in their Lamar Hunt/U.S. Open Cup play-in match at the Los Angeles Galaxy Tuesday, according to a team spokesman.

The Red Bulls are still awaiting word on Angel's visa.

Angel traveled with the team to Salt Lake City for the 3-3 draw with Real Salt Lake Saturday night and flew to California for the Open Cup encounter.

Angel, who last performed for Aston Villa in the English Premiership, was signed by MLS and the Red Bulls as the club's second designated player last month.
