Florida's Erika Tymrak is Women's Player of the Week

Florida forward Erika Tymrak has been named the Soccer News Net Women's College Player of the Week for the week ending November 4.

Tymrak was named the SEC Tournament MVP after leading the Gators to the conference championship.

In Sunday's 3-0 Championship win over Auburn, Tymrak set up the Gators’ go-ahead goal in the 31st minute, then set up the third goal in the 70th minute.

In Friday’s a 3-0 win over Missouri, Tymrak was involved in the Gators’ first two goals, scored within a 40-second span. Tymrak found sophomore Havana Solaun in the 19th minute. Then Tymrak struck a 25-yard shot to the far post upper corner for her seventh goal of the season.

Tymrak also scored on an 89th-minute free kick to give the No. 10 Gators the margin they needed to defeat Mississippi 2-1 on Wednesday and advance to the semifinals Florida.
