Mark Sherrod (Memphis) is only the second player to repeat as Conference USA Offensive Player of the Year, and is a candidate for the Soccer News Net College Boot.

Memphis RS junior forward Mark Sherrod is one of seven at-large nominees for the Soccer News Net College Boot, recognizing the national player of the year.
Sherrod, of Knoxville, Tenn. (Carter HS/Knoxville FC), is the second player to repeat as Conference USA Offensive Player of the Year. During conference matches, Sherrod was the league's top goal scorer (8), as well as its leader in points (17) and shots (48). He had 28 points for the season (12 goals, 4 assists) and posted a league-best 84 shots. Sherrod also was named to the NSCAA All-Midwest Region First Team.
Fan voting accounts for 40% of the total toward selection of the Soccer News Net College Boot. Voting for the College Boot is open through December 23.
