Brooklyn College adds women's soccer

BROOKLYN, N.Y. -- Brooklyn College will add women's soccer next year.

“We are very excited to grow our family of athletic teams at Brooklyn College,” athletics director Bruce Filosa said in a statement. “With the success of our athletics program across the board, we will look for nothing but great things from our new women's soccer program.”

Along with the softball and men's soccer teams, the women's team will play its home games on BC's new outdoor athletic complex, which is currently under construction and set to be completed by the end of this spring.

Anyone who is interested in playing women's soccer this coming Fall should fill out the online questionnaire http://www.brooklyncollegeathletics.com/sb_output.aspx?form=3 or come to the Athletics Office, located in Room 426 of the West Quad Center to fill out an interest form.

Brooklyn College is a member of the City University of New York Atheltic Conference.
