ONE GOAL WAS ENOUGH
CCNY edges Staten Island for CUNYAC women's title

NEW YORK -- A goal in the 22nd minute was all the City College of New York women needed as Dzindzi Asamoah-Wade recorded her 20th goal of the season for a 1-0 win over the College of Staten Island in the City University of New York Athletic Conference final at Randall’s Island Field 10 on Saturday night.

CCNY punched its ticket into the NCAA Division III tournament, which kicks off next Saturday.

Junior goalkeeper Nicole Carroll and a strong defense kept CSI scoreless.
