The Knights fall to 2-8-1 on the season with a 0-3-0 Northeast Conference record, while the Red Flash improve to 5-5-1 overall with a 3-0 mark in league action.

Monmouth senior's brace beats FDU
Monmouth University senior Amy Hoyer scored twice, sophomore Andrea Lopez added two assists and junior Joanna DeMoor added a goal and an assist to pace the Hawks to a 3-1 win at Fairleigh Dickinson in women’s soccer action, Friday afternoon. Monmouth, winners of five straight matches, improved to 7-2-3 overall and 3-0 in the Northeast Conference, while FDU falls to 3-9 and 1-2 NEC.

The Fairleigh Dickinson University women’s soccer team notched its first victory of the 2007 season, defeating visiting Canisius College, 2-1, Friday. Senior forward Tonya Hipsman tallied the Knights’ (1-7-0) first goal of the afternoon and assisted on the game-winner.
