Hofstra vs. William & Mary men moved to Friday because of storm; CAA quarterfinals now next Monday


HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. -- The Hofstra men's game against William and Mary has been moved to Friday at 7 p.m. at Hofstra Soccer Stadium due to the threat of Hurricane Sandy.

The game - the regular season finale for the Pride - has been moved from its originally scheduled date on Wednesday. The contest will take place with Senior Day ceremonies taking place before the game.

The Colonial Athletic Association announced that the conference tournament's quarterfinal-round games will be moved to Monday, Nov. 5 after originally being scheduled for Saturday.

Hofstra (11-5-1, 5-4) is coming off a win over No. 15 Old Dominion and has clinched a spot in the CAA tournament. The Pride is fourth in the confernece with 15 points.
