Echeverry named new Seton Hall men's coach, replacing Schellscheidt
Gerson Echeverry on Monday was named the head men’s soccer coach at Seton Hall University. Echeverry, a 1994 Seton Hall graduate and former Pirates assistant coach, replaced Manfred Schellscheidt, who announced his retirement in November after 24 years of coaching at the school.

Manny Schellscheidt has decided to retire from college coaching. Schellschedit, one of the most respected coaches in the United States at any level, announced on Monday that he will step down after 24 years as coach of the Seton Hall men’s soccer team.
