Seton Hall men fall again, 2-0


PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Seton Hall men fell to Pittsburgh, 2-0, on Saturday night.

The loss dropped the Pirates to 4-6-2 overall and 0-3-0 in the Big East while Pitt improved to 4-7-1, 2-1-0.

In the 58th minute, Chu Chu Oneukwu wound up on a breakaway. Goalkeeper Michael Kuzan (Union, N.J.) came out to challenge, but Oneukwu got by him for a 1-0 lead.

The Panthers tacked on another goal in the 86th minute after Derrick Smith sent a crosa to Ryan Brode. Brode fed Terry Akpua, who netted his first goal this season.

Kuzan made three saves in his first appearance of the season.

The Pirates will host Georgetown on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
