Meet candidate Jack Bennett of St. John's, then vote in the men's balloting

St. John’s junior midfielder Jack Bennett is one of six nominees for BigAppleSoccer.com men’s college player of the year, and a regional nominee for the Soccer News Net College Boot, recognizing the national player of the year.

A solid contributor to the Red Storm offense through the regular season, Jack Bennett (London, England/Tyler JC) truly came into his own in the postseason, collecting two assists and the championship-clinching golden goal to be named Outstanding Offensive Player of the Big East Tournament. Including the overtime strike in the conference championship game against UConn, five of Bennett’s six goals this season were game-winners. He also leads the Johnnies with six assists.

Fan voting for the Soccer News Net College Boot and Big Apple Soccer college player of the year awards is open through December 23.
