Tips on how to market yourself via video
Before the internet -- yes there was life before the internet -- college coaches would tell me they received videos of prospective players in the mail. Early on, they were in VCR format and then progressed to DVDs. Either way, they were sent to the coach by snail mail for viewing.

Student athletes who are 12th graders, waiting to hear news of which colleges they have been accepted to please read this carefully. When you began your college search of course you had a No. 1 school also known as your dream school where you would be happy to play soccer. I wish I could say that everyone gets their first choice but this is not always the case. Sometimes things just don’t work out with you top choice.

I read a series of articles in The New York Times written by Warren St. John, regarding a soccer program in Clarkston, Ga. a small town 20 minutes from Atlanta. It was a rather distressing story about relocated refugees who were not allowed to use the town fields to play soccer, this eventually was resolved.
