FA Cup winners to play Club America in SF

SAN FRANCISCO--- – FA Cup winners Manchester City and Club America will face each other on Saturday, July 16 (8:00 p.m. ET) at AT&T Park in San Francisco, Calif. as part of the 2011 Herbalife World Football Challenge.

The San Francisco event will mark both clubs’ first match in the WFC.

Manchester City will play a total of three games as part of the Herbalife World Football Challenge. The club will begin their participation in the event on July 16 in San Francisco, before traveling on to Vancouver on July 18 to face MLS’ Vancouver Whitecaps FC at Empire Field. Manchester City round out their matches on July 24 in Carson, Calif., where they will visit the LA Galaxy at The Home Depot Center.

Following their match in San Francisco against Manchester City, Club America will also face FC Barcelona on August 6 at Arlington’s Cowboys Stadium.
