JUVE'S NOT COMING
Italian team cancels U.S. tour

Italian Serie A team Juventus has apparently cancelled their United States tour that had been planned for late July and August.

The Bianconeri had been slated to play DC United at RFK Stadium on July 28, Paris Saint-Germain at Olympic Stadium in Montreal on July 31 and Real Madrid at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas on August 5 as part of the World Football Challenge.
Juventus is scheduled to play Napoli in Supercoppa Italiana in Beijing's Olympic Stadium on August 11.
Though there was no official word on the games in Montreal and Las Vegas, DC United did issue a statement that Juventus will no longer be playing in Washington, D.C.

The MLS club said it is already in discussions with another, major European team to fill that date. The July 28 date coincides with another international exhibition featuring Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur which will be played in Baltimore at M&T Bank Stadium.
