National Jewish Hall honors former USWNT player Belkin Rademacher
Debbie Belkin Rademacher, a member of the United States team that captured the very first Women's World Cup in 1991, has been elected into the National Jewish Sports Hall of Fame.
She was be inducted with other athletes, coaches and media personalities at the Suffolk Y Jewish Community Center in Commack, N.Y. on April 22, 2012.
Belkin Rademacher was honored by the Hall in 2003.
A member of he University of Massachusetts Athletic Hall of Fame, Belkin was a three-time All-America (1985-87), and played on the U.S. Women's National team from 1986-1992, making 50 appearances. In 2000, Soccer America named her to the Women's College Soccer Team of the Century.
She also was a head women's coach at Fairfield University and the University of Michigan.
