CALL HER COACH WAMBACH
U.S. star named magicJack player-coach

U.S. international striker Abby Wambach, who led the United States to a second-place finish in Women’s World Cup, will coach the magicJack for the rest of the Women’s Professional Soccer season.

The 31-year-old Wambach will be a player-coach of the Boca Raton, Fla.-based team.

“The thing people don’t know is she’s incredibly smart,” team team Dan Borislow said told the Palm Beach Post “If you gave her an IQ test, she’d probably come out a genius.”

Borislow said Wambach had no problems accepting her new role.

“Everybody respects Abby,” he was quoted by the Post. “She does a good job of getting along with everybody and motivating them.”
