Spencer reunited with Riley in Philly

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Forward Jasmyne Spencer, who helped the Long Island Fury win a Women's Premier Soccer League title, will be reunited with her former coach Paul Riley.

The Bay Shore, N.Y. resident was selected by the Philadelphia Independence at the Women's Professional Soccer draft at the Kansas City Convention Center on Friday afternoon.

Riley coached the Fury and Spencer to a WPSL championship.

The 5-1 Spencer, a fast forward, also played for Riley on the Albertson Fury.
