Ironbound at Ottawa in conference semis

The Newark Ironbound Express (10-3-3) will play at the Ottawa Fury in the Eastern Conference semifinals of the Premier Development League playoffs this Saturday.

The Fury (11-2-3) is undefeated at home this season and boasts the second best defense in the league.

Reading United AC (10-2-4), which edged Ironbound for the Mid Atlantic Division title, will take on PDL first-year club MPS Portland Phoenix (10-2-4) in the other semifinal.

The winners will meet for the conference crown on Saturday.

The PDL Final Four is scheduled for Aug. 6-7 at a site to be determined.
