Ramos directs team at youth nationals
He never won an MLS Cup or Lamar Hunt/U.S. Open Cup with the MetroStars, but former U.S. National Team standout Tab Ramos has an opportunity to earn one as a youth coach. His NJSA 04 Gunners will compete in the Boys Under-14 division at the U.S. Youth Soccer Association nationals at Burns Park Soccer Complex in North Little Rock, Ark. this week.

Red Bulls midfielders Matt Kassel and Cesar Blacido Friday were named to the U.S. Soccer Development Academy's Under-18 national Starting XI. Metropolitan Oval coach Giovanni Savarese, a former MetroStars standout, was named coach of the year the U-16 level.
