TOMORROW'S THE DEADLINE
For LIJSL sportsmanship contest

Attention all Under-12 players -- Boys and Girls -- in the Long Island Junior Soccer League: You can tell the entire world "Why my coach is a good sport" in a special essay contest the league is holding.

All entries must be postmarked by Tuesday, Dec. 1.

You can honor your coach -- he or she will be a guest at the LIJSL convention on Friday, March 5, 2010 -- and win a $500 savings bond.

All you have to do is to submit an essay between 100-250 words on "Why you feel your coach is a good sport" and should be selected as "Sportsperson of the year."

All essays should be printed neatly or typed. Your name, address and club name should be on your entry as well.
