TWO FOR SPAIN
Dunn, Hayes to play with U-20 WNT

Defender Crystal Dunn of Rockville Centre, N.Y. and Maya Hayes of West Orange, N.J. were named to the U.S. Under-20 Women's National Team squad for a four-nation tournament in La Manga, Spain later this month.

Dunn, an Albertson SC standout, an Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association ODP graduate, and Hayes, who plays for the Aristocrats Club, were members of the U.S. U-20 team that qualified for the FIFA U-20 World Cup last month. They were among 18 players named to the team.

The U.S. will play in the tournament, which features the Under-23 National Teams from Norway, England and Germany, from Feb. 18-27.

The Americans will face Norway Feb. 22, Germany Feb. 24 and England oFeb. 26. The U.S. roster features 16 players from the roster that helped the USA defeat Costa Rica 2-1 in the semifinal of the CONCACAF U-20 Women’s championship to earn its berth to Germany and then downed Mexico 1-0 in the final game.

Defender-forward Vicki DiMartino, a member of the team that qualified for the U-20 WWC, was not on the team for this tourney. No reason has been given.
