Rallying from an early deficit, the Long Island Academy scored four unanswered goals to defeat New York Athletic Club, 4-1, Friday night at Stevens Tech to clinch the National Premier Soccer League Mid-Atlantic Division regular-season title.

The Long Island Academy defeated the Maine Sting, 4-1, in Maine Saturday while the Fury's match at the Mitchel Athletic Complex in the evening was postponed in the 24th minute due to lightning.

Academy vs. Morristown off, Fury still on
The Long Island Academy's match at 8 p.m. tonight against the Morristown Colonials at Mitchel Athletic Complex in Uniondale has been postponed. According to the Academy, the game needed to be postponed to allow the Academy to travel to Maine by noon tomorrow for their important game at the Maine Sting.
