INTERESTED IN COSMOS
Report: Restrepo wants to play for NASL team

Goalkeeper Diego Restrepo, who plays for Deportivo Tachira in Venezuela, is interested in playing for the New York Cosmos, according to Goal.com.

The former University of Virginia keeper is interested in the Cosmos because of the team's history, according to sources, the website reported.

"If it was another team out of MLS Diego would not be very interested now, but Cosmos is another thing and so would be willing to return to the United States," the source told Goal.com.

The Cosmos are scheduled to make their debut in the new North American Soccer League during the league's summer season, which is supposed to begin in late July or early August.
