Flames' Keegan (4 goals in one game)

Westchester Flames forward Jake Keegan, who scored four goals in a 5-4 win over the Brooklyn Knights in a Premier Development League game on Saturday, was named the BigAppleSoccer.com player of the week on Monday.

Keegan was honored for the week ending on Sunday, May 29.

He scored three of his four goals within a four-minute span late in the match in New Rochelle, N.Y..

The game had three lead changes after Ugur Goktekin had given the Knights (0-4-0, no points) a 1-0 lead in the 12th minute.

But the Flames (2-2-0, six) came back to take the lead on goals by Christopher Dennen (18th minute) and Keegan's first in the 31st minute.

then it was Brooklyn's turn to take center stage as Goktekin tied it at 2-2 in the 71st minute and Gabriel Bagot gave the visitors a 3-2 bulge only a minute later.

But then Keegan converted a pair of penalty kicks a minute apart in the 84th and 85th minute to boost Westchester back into the lead at 4-3. He added another goal off a David Panchano assist in the 88th minute.

The Flames needed that insurance goal because Zachary Gosse tallied off John Johanson's second assist of the game in the 90th minute.
