OPEN TRYOUTS
Italians to hold them Saturday, Sunday
BROOKLYN, N.Y. – The National Premier Soccer League regular season division defending champion Brooklyn Italians are in search of players for the 2012 season and will hold a two-day open tryout on Saturday, Dec. 17 and Sunday, Dec. 18.
The open tryout will be held at John Dewey High School in Brooklyn. Previous Brooklyn Italians tryouts have been a successful tool for finding talented players to contribute to the team, including current USL Pro players Joseph Tavernese, Christian Turizo, Mauricio Turizo and Don Smarth, who played for the Italians during the 2011 season.
The Brooklyn Italians' newly appointed head Lucio Russo and his coaching staff will be in attendance to evaluate all participating players.
