PDL KICKOFF
Knights open Saturday, Flames Sunday

The local Premier Development League season kicks off this weekend as the Brooklyn Knights host Reading United AC at the Metropolitan Oval in Maspeth, Queens at 7 p.m. Saturday.

It continues Sunday when the Westchester Flames visit the New Jersey Rangers at Morris Catholic High School at 6 p.m. Sunday.

the first big-time derby of the season will be played on Wednesday, May 11 at 7 p.m., when the Knights host the Long island Rough Riders at the Oval.

The Rough Riders will host the Knights in a return match at Cy Donnelly Stadium in South Huntington at 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 15.
