F.A. Euro-NY Magic to hold them Saturday, Sunday

NEW YORK – F.A. Euro-New York Magic will hold its first set of tryout dates for the Premier Development League season at the Verrazano Soccer Complex in Brooklyn, N.Y. on Saturday, Feb. 16 and Sunday, Feb. 17.

Both sessions will begin at 2 p.m. with head coach Joe Balsamo evaluating talent.

NY FA Euro director of football operations Ben Marcu expressed the club’s eagerness to discover local talent.

“As someone who grew up playing in the area, I know there is a great deal of talent in New York," Marcu said. "We feel that being the only team at the PDL level in the five boroughs gives us a unique advantage in terms of player recruitment, and we’re excited to see what New York has to offer.”

There will be a $35 registration fee for the two-day tryout.

The club requests that, while it is an open tryout, all interested players register online,
