Not everyone who has been associated with Red Bulls Arena is around to see it completed. Peter Higgins III, chairman of the Harrison Redevelopment Agency and one of the forces behind the project, passed away after a battle with cancer in January.

Nick Sakiewicz might not be in Harrison, N.J. for the Grand Opening of Red Bull Arena Saturday night, but his heart certainly will be there. After all, he led the charge, from 2001-2006 in getting the stadium built. And it wasn't a smooth ride, but rather a rollercoaster ride that included political upheaval, headaches, disappointments and finally triumph.

So much for some star power at the grand opening of Red Bull Arena on Saturday. Brazilian international striker Robinho has been ruled out of the match against the Red Bulls due to a thigh muscle injury he suffered in a 4-3 loss to Palmeiras Sunday, according to the team's website.
