TAKING THE BLAME
Robles: the first goal was my fault

Give Red Bulls goalkeeper Luis Robles credit. He could have hid behind an excuse that it was miscommunication between him and center back Ibrahim Sekagya that led to D.C. United's first goal in the 2-0 win over New York Sunday, but he didn't. He took the blame for the goal.

Mike Petke admires Ben Olsen, but rivalry continues

D.C. United is in the midst of a renassaince, on the field at least, as the worst club in the league last year is now topping the Eastern Conference. And for Red Bulls head coach Mike Petke, his rival on the other bench this Sunday at RFK Stadium is a big reason why.

On one hand, the Red Bulls did what they had to do. They secured their very first win ever in the CONCACAF Champions League, a 2-0 whitewash of CD FAS.
