By the time Petke pulled his striker from the Red Bulls' 4-1 triumph over the Seattle Sounders in the 58th minute, Wright-Phillips had connected for his third hat-trick of the MLS season, including two goals in a remarkable 89-second span early in the second half that broke open the game.
