A HALL OF A TRIP
Bulls' Hall, Generation adidas to S. Africa

Jeremy Hall and the Generation adidas MLS team will travel to South Africa later this month.

Red Bulls defender-midfielder Jeremy Hall is going to South Africa. Not for the World Cup, but as one of 18 Generation adidas MLS players who will travel there for a postseason trip Nov. 27.

Hall and the team will play in three friendlies and participate in several other events, including the World Cup draw in Cape Town Dec. 4.

Hall, the Red Bulls’ 2009 young player of the year, was selecteded in the first round (11th overall) in the 2009 MLS SuperDraft out of the University of Maryland.

He played in 24 of 30 games, recording one assist, and was third on the team in minutes (2,001).

The tentative schedule for the trip is as follows:

Nov. 27 – Depart United States

Nov. 30 – Friendly vs. Orlando Pirates Reserves/Visit Nelson Mandela’s House

Dec. 3 – Friendly vs. ppponent TBD

Dec. 4 – Attend the World Cup Draw

Dec. 5 – Opening of first FIFA Football for Hope Centre

Dec. 6 – Friendly vs. AJAX Cape Town reserves

Dec. 7 – Depart South Africa
