July 23, 2010 A NEW PATH Henry takes the train to stadium
\HARRISON, N.J. -- Red Bulls striker Thierry Henry decided to take the PATH from Manhattan to the game with the fans.
"It was the quickest way to come to the game," he said after scoring a goal in the Red Bulls' 2-1 loss to Tottenham Hotspur in the Barclays New York Challenge. "It was quite an experience. It was cool."
He walked from the Harrison Path station to the stadium.
"It was amazing to see the fans and walk with them to the stadium. Just amazing," he said.
So was his reception by the fans.
"I'd say the reception was tremendous," he said. "Every time I touched the ball. When I came out. When I scored. It was important for me to feel at home."
