Palsson scores equalizer for NEC in win

Red Bulls midfielder Victor Palsson, who was loaned to NEC Nijmegen in August, scored the first goal for the Dutch Eredivisie team in its 2-1 victory over host Groningen on Sunday.

Michael de Leeuw had given Groningen the lead in the 11th minute before Palsson pulled one back for the visitors in the 65th minute before a crowd of 20,561.

Geert Arend Roorda connected for the dramatic game-winner in the 90th minute.
