If you had any doubts the Red Bulls would make changes during the tenure of newly named sporting director Andy Roxburgh, they were disspelled on Monday.

The Red Bulls announced that the Major League Soccer team would not pick up the team contract options for 10 players.

The list included:

Goalkeepers: Bill Gaudette, Jeremy Vuolo

Defenders: Jonathan Borrajo, Stephen Keel, Tyler Ruthven

Midfielders: Jan Gunnar Solli, Teemu Tainio

Forwards: Jose Angulo, Jhonny Arteaga, Corey Hertzog

Last week it was reported that the team would not pick up the options of Gaudette, Solli, Tainio and Angulo.

Those 10 players will all enter Monday’s MLS Waiver Draft.

Angulo was signed on March 5 but did not play in a regular-season match. He came on as a substitute against Tottenham Hotpsur in an exhibition game on July 31.

Arteaga also was signed on March 5 after playing for FC New York. He played 17 minutes in five games as a substitute.

Borrajo was added by New York on Jan. 5 from Norwegian club Hamarkameratene. He played in one regular season match this season.

Gaudette was acquired on July 13 from the LA Galaxy in exchange for New York’s natural 2014 second round supplemental draft choice. The former St. John's standout goalkeeper made 12 starts, posting a 1.33 goals against average, three shutouts and a 5-3-4 mark.

Hertzog, who was drafted in the first round (14th overall) in the 2011 MLS SuperDraft out of Penn State University, made five career appearances for the Red Bulls over two seasons. He spent most of the 2012 season on loan with the Wilmington Hammerhads in the North American Soccer League. His goal-scoring helped the Hammerheads reach the NASL championship game.

Keel made 35 total regular season appearances for the Red Bulls over two seasons, 26 of which were starts. Keel performed in nine games and made six starts this past season.

Solli was brought to New York on Jan. 24, 2011 following a stint with SK Brann of Norway. In the two seasons, Solli made 55 appearances, while recording three goals and 12 assists. Solli played in 24 games, notching three goals and five assists this past season.

Signed on March 11, 2011, Tainio, a former Finnish international, made 14 appearances and nine starts in 2012 for the Red Bulls, recording one assist. The former Ajax Amsterdam midfielder finished his two seasons in MLS with 42 games played, 37 of which were starts.

Ruthven was signed on March 5, joining from the Atlanta Silverbacks (NASL). He played in five games, starting in four in his first MLS season.

Vuolo joined New York on Jan. 25 from Finnish side, AC Oulu. He did not appear in a regular season match.
