Thierry Henry won't be going on loan with Arsenal this winter.
So says Gunners manager Arsene Wenger.
Wenger told the Metro newspaper i England on Wednesday that the Red Bulls captain won't play in the English Premier League as he did earlier this year on loan.
"I do not think it would be good for him to play with us again," Wenger was quoted by the English newspaper Metro. "He should relax and prepare for the next MLS season."
Wenger did not say anything else about the matter.
While that is not a shocking revelation, it puts the lid on a transfer deal on both ends.
Gerard Houllier, the head off Red Bull Global Soccer, recently said he did not think Henry would play for Arsenal on loan this winter because he had ot been contacted by the English Premier League club.
