Luyindula training with Red Bulls, could play vs. RSL tonight

Former Paris St Germain and French forward Peguy Luyindula has been listed as a guest player for the Red Bulls when they take on Real Salt Lake in their opening match of the Tucson Desert Diamond Cup in Tucson, Ariz. on Wednesday night.

The game will be streamed at the Red Bulls website at at 9 p.m. ET.

Luyindula is one of four guest players in camp, including Rafhael Domingues, Marius Obekop and Tyler Ruthven, who is on trial after being a member of the Red Bulls last season.

The 33-year-old Luyindula, who played with Red Bulls captain Thierry Henry on the French National Team, also performed with Red Bulls midfielder Juninho when the two were with Lyon from 2002-2004.

Luyindula also has played for Strasbourg, Marseille and Auxerre in France and Levante in Spain. He made 14 appearances with the French Under-21 team, scoring 14 goals and played six times for the full national side, scoring once.
