Luyindula can start or come off the bench vs SKC
HARRISON, N.J. -- The Red Bulls will get an important boost when they visit Sporting Kansas City in a rare Tuesday night game -- the return of midfielder Peguy Luyindula.

The Frenchman missed New York's last two games -- both losses -- with a calf strain. But after training on Monday, Red Bulls head coach Mike Petke said Luyindula was available for selection for the 8 p.m. encounter on ESPN2.
"He’s ready to go, 100 percent," Petke said. "He’s ready to go. He’s definitely in the plans as far as what we want to do. Whether that be a starting role or coming off the bench we’re not sure yet.
"To be quite honest we’re not sure with a lot of players because we just played and we [have to] wait to get through this practice [and] see how they feel but there could be some changes."
The addition of Luyindula will be welcome, since the Red Bulls are missing one central midfielder in Tim Cahill, who is with Australia preparing for the World Cup, as is left back Roy Miller with Costa Rica.
