Red Bulls rookie right back Chris Duvall needed one in the 62nd minute of the 2-0 loss at D.C. United Sunday.
Duvall had cramped up in the second half of the Major League Soccer encounter at RFK Stadium.
When asked about Duvall's condition during his weekly Tuesday conference call with the media, Red Bulls coach Mike Petke was quite to say that Duvall was all right.
"He's OK," Petke said. "Him coming from the college season, which is a couple of months and stepping into something like this, we knew, like with Matt Miazga, like with [Ambroise] Oyongo a couple of games ago, we knew that he was going to hit a point where he was going to get tired. And that's what happened.
"There were some pains in his leg. but he's OK. It was nothing permanent."
Since making his MLS debut as a substitute in the May 17 match at Toronto, the 5-10, 150-lb. Duvall has played in 14 games, making 13 starts over 1,184 minutes.
In his senior season at Wake Forest last year, Duvall played in exactly 14 games.
