HANOVER, N.J. -- Kemar Lawrence is not with the Red Bulls on Saturday night against the Columbus Crew, the team's starting left back is out for the game due to "personal reasons," according to a source.

After missing training on Friday, Lawrence was unable to join the club in time for Saturday's match as he attended to personal matters that kept him away.

The Red Bulls left back has been a revelation in his first year in the league, playing 19 matches for the Major League Soccer team.

The reason for the absence is unknown at this time other than it is personal reasons.

He is expected to return back to the team in time for Wednesday's home match against the Columbus Crew.
