It was only a matter of time before France's World Cup scoring drought ended. Togo was on the receiving in when it did, dropping a 2-0 decision in Friday's final day of Group competition.

SOUTH KOREA GROUNDS SPARROW HAWKS
Ahn scores the clincher in 2-1 win
Korea overcame a one-goal halftime deficit by striking for a pair of second-half goals during an 18-minute span to earn a 2-1 victory over Togo in a World Cup Group G match Wednesday. Korea, which had never won a World Cup game outside of its own country, connected in the 54th minute and 72nd minutes, with Chun Soo Lee and Jung Hwan Ahn providing the goals.

African side expected to struggle in WC debut
Of the seven World Cup newcomers, many observers are not giving Togo much of a chance of winning a game. That's because the African side deploys a young side and the quality and experience of the opposition -- France, Switzerland South Korea -- might be too much for the team to overcome.
