LA GRANGE, N.Y. -- Timmy Brereton and Kyle MacDonald scored for the Staten Island United Gunners in its 2-1 victory over Black Watch Dundee to capture the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association Open Cup crown at Stringham Park on June 2.

Staten Island's Anthony O’Donnell had a goal disallowed for offside.

“We controlled most of the game,” Staten Island coach George MacDonald said.

The Gunners will participate in the Cunningham Cup in Glasgow in August. Before that, they will compete in the Region I from June 28 to July 3 in Lancaster, Pa.
