Farmingdale United earned its fourth consecutive Eastern New York State Open Cup championship in the rain and morning fog at Stringham Park in LaGrange, N.Y. on June 2.

Farmingdale shut out FC Sting 96, 3-0, in the Girls Under-15 final.

“We controlled the tempo of the game and our central midfielders –– Nicola Venezia, Hope Quinones and Taylor Sipos –– were outstanding,” commented Farmingdale coach Jamie Gonzalez said.

Farmingdale has played in the final five times. United will perform at the Region I tournament in Lancaster, Pa. from June 28 to July 3.
