LISRA donates toys for LI children

The Long Island Soccer Referees Association held a Toy for Tots drive at its Holiday Party as six boxes of toys were donated by referees to needy children on Long Island.

The event was held at the James Allen Elementary School in Dix Hills on Dec. 13.

“For every member of ours who needed help, I received 20 e-mails from our refs who said they could help,” LISRA president Cathy Caldwell said.

“We all do what we can to help one another. Our lives are definitely richer by working with one another."
