PANAMA BOUND
Red Bulls' Lema, Wade called into U.S. U-17 team
Two Red Bulls Under-17 players -- midfielder Christopher Lema and forward Wesley Wade -- were added to the U.S. U-17 Men’s National Team travel roster for a week-long trip to Panama City, Panama from Saturday through March 1.
Coached by former Red Bulls assistant coach Richie Williams, the team will play three matches in Panama City, including a match against Mexico U-17s on Saturday, another vs. Panama U-17's on Tuesday and a third game against local club and U-20 side Arabe Unido on Friday.
Lema (Ridgefield, N.J,) and Wade (South Orange, N.J.) will join the team in preparation for the CONCACAF U-17 Championship, set for Panama from April 6–19. The U.S. will be joined by Panama, Barbados, Canada, Costa Rica, Cuba, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico and Trinidad & Tobago in the CONCACAF competition.
