Price top boys youth coach again

New York -- David Price was named's boys youth coach of the year for the second year in a row at the website's awards ceremony at Nathan Hale's on Thursday night.

Price pulled off a rarity if not a first last year, coaching not one but two teams at the same time into their respective finals at the Region I championships and winning a Super Y League national title. He fell short with Albertson Red Storm Clash in the Boys U-19 championship game, but Price directed the New Rochelle Raiders to the Boys U-17 regional crown before losing at the U.S. Youth Soccer Association nationals.

In November, Price guided the Raiders to the Super Y-League Boys’ Under-17 national championship.

"David Price has again proven he is the premier club coach in the metropolitan area," associate editor Dylan Butler said. "There is no one else I'd want on the sideline in a big game."
